Paris, France - This was a winter trip to Paris. My friend and Shipmate Jeff Wozniak came along. Our wives could not make it so we toured Paris on our own.

Construction
Paris, France - Unfortunately, the Eiffel Tower was going through some renovations. This image just does not do justice to the size of this thing.

Paris, France - This is the Army Museum in Paris. That done is made of gold and Napoleon the 1st is buried there.

Paris, France - This is one of many churches in Paris. I did my best to try and find it on Google Earth, but no luck.
Conciergerie
Paris, France - La Conciergerie is a former royal palace and prison in Paris, France, located on the west of the �le de la Cit�. It is part of the larger complex known as the Palais de Justice, which is still used for judicial purposes.
Pont des Arts
Paris, France - This pedestrian bridge is completely covered in locks. Each lock has the names of two lovers.
Crossing La Seine
Paris, France - Crossing the river La Seine onto lle de la Cite. This is the island that Notre Dame is on.
Notre Dame
Paris, France - Our first look at the Notre Dame cathedral. We will actually make two visits here. This is one of the points of interest that I had on my Must See list.

Paris, France - I felt this angle was best in black and white. Just the fact that construction started in 1163 is impressive enough.

Paris, France - Look carefully. Most of this image could have been taken 800 hundred years ago. Look again. Flat screens have been installed.
